One system, two clearly different states.

The integrated configuration keeps the airbag compact during normal operation. After activation, the deployed structure creates the controlled deformation volume needed for impact mitigation.

DEPLOYED CONFIGURATION

Full landing protection

After activation, the airbag creates a stable protective cushion that absorbs impact energy and limits the loads transmitted into the structure and payload.

Parachute activation
